Apprenticeship Spotlight

The new Level 5 Diploma in Bespoke Tailoring is already reaping rewards.

Developed last year by Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) Director Su Thomas, leading educator Sue Fraser and UKFT, the comprehensive qualification provides students with all of the mandatory core skills they need to pursue a career as a tailor or cutter.

The diploma was developed with the invaluable help of SRBA Members Anderson & Sheppard, Chittleborough & Morgan, Davies & Son, Dege & Skinner, Gieves & Hawkes, Henry Poole & Co, Meyer & Mortimer, Norton & Sons, Richard Anderson, Welsh & Jefferies and Associate Member Kathryn Sargent.

To demonstrate how Level 5 is working from a student’s perspective, UKFT has just published this insight by Quentin Felix, who is studying at the Tailoring Academy in Macclesfield.

A handbook containing full details of the Level 5 Diploma in Bespoke Tailoring is available from info@bespokeapprentice.com
