Savile Row in Tokyo

Savile Row at the British Ambassador's Residence, Tokyo, is the third chapter of The London Cut exhibition, which has previously been held in Florence and Paris. The event was co-hosted by Ambassador Sir Graham and Lady Fry and Savile Row Bespoke.

The charm and intimacy of the Ambassador's residence brought the invited audience into immediate contact with the bespoke pieces. The art direction, commissioned by curator James Sherwood from Steve Lidbury Design, beautifully framed the masterpieces of bespoke tailoring on display. Courtesy of SRBA member Anderson & Sheppard, to which great thanks should be paid, all the disciplines of an elegant, timeless gentleman's wardrobe were on show: tweeds, evening dress, blazers, flannels and City suits.

Savile Row Bespoke would like to thank the British Ambassador Sir Graham Fry and his team for their unstinting hard work and enthusiasm for this event, and also the principal sponsors:

  • Australian Wool Innovation
  • British Wool Textile Export Corporation
  • Isetan

SRB's creative partners in the event:
