Permission Granted!

We are delighted to report that last night Westminster City Council granted consent for the redevelopment of the derelict West End Central police station at 27 Savile Row.

The Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) would like to sincerely thank everyone who has campaigned over the last two years in support of the redevelopment and, in particular, all those that attended the planning committee meeting last night – your passion shone through!

SRBA Chair Mark Henderson comments: “Everyone on Savile Row is absolutely thrilled that Westminster approved the redevelopment plan for the old police station at 27 Savile Row. With grade A office space, a site for a restaurant and a new permanent home for the Savile Row Bespoke Association's training partner The London Academy of Bespoke, it's an important milestone in the careful upgrading of property on this unique street and the protection and development of its traditions. We would like to thank all those who lent their vociferous and passionate support to the application, to the vision and patience of the developers Henigman over the past two years, and to our Councillors who supported the scheme.”
