We are delighted to announce that Taj Phull has been elected new Chair of the Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA).
Taj is the Managing Director of Huntsman, a true Savile Row stalwart and a founding member of the SRBA. With an extensive career in bespoke tailoring, he is a well-known and much-respected figure on the Row, and we look forward to him bringing his inimitable energy and forward-looking perspective to the role of Chair.
Taj comments: “It was with great pleasure to be elected Chairman of the SRB in July; focusing on the preservation of the craft is key to the global growth of Savile Row Bespoke tailoring, the incredible export we offer to the world. A big focus will be the bespoke apprenticeships that the houses offer, how we go about hiring new talent, and the future of bespoke tailoring.”
Everyone at the SRBA would also like to pay tribute to our outgoing Chair, Mark Henderson, for his dedication and leadership during his tenure.
Mark comments: “As a founding director of the Association, it's really exciting to see another generation taking up the baton. I have great respect for what Taj is doing with Huntsman and the collective determination of the SRB members to ensure that true bespoke tailoring continues to thrive on this special street.”
