The Open Row event that we put on with our partners Chivas last Thursday, April 24th, proved to be a night to remember.

The SRBA members and associate members who opened up their houses and allowed three hundred sartorially savvy guests a never before behind the scenes look at the workings of our famous street were:

Highlights of the evening included Chivas cocktails and a whisky tasting, a look at Alexander McQueen’s bespoke tailoring workshop, live music from Franky and the Jacks at Anderson & Sheppard, a demonstration of Chittleborough & Morgan’s stunning work with the Chivas tartan, bespoke shirt cutting at Dege & Skinner, tie tying with Hardy Amies and Lutwyche, an auction at Meyer & Mortimer, a close-up look at Huntsman’s famous tweeds, a quiz at Norton & Sons and a cutting demonstration at Welsh & Jefferies.

Fox Brothers, Dormeuil and Dugdale also exhibited a number of the stunning cloths without which our members would be unable to go about their daily business.
