The Crisis pop-up shop at the old West End Central police station is open! Take yourself down to the station to find a great selection of garments and accessories at real bargain prices. All proceeds go to Crisis, the national homelessness charity. This year, the pop-up’s fourth on Savile Row, some fifty brands and tailoring houses have made donations, and

Our condolences go to the family, friends and colleagues of Alex Cooke. An extremely popular presence on Savile Row, Alex worked his way from Striker to Managing Director at Henry Poole & Co. He joined Poole’s in 1998 on a cutting apprenticeship, which he completed to become a Savile Row Cutter in 2003. And in 2008 he was promoted to

The shears are up and shining bright. This year’s Savile Row Christmas lights are now in place for all to see. Tailors’ shears represent some of the key values of our community – knowledge, skill, and time-tested craftsmanship. And, stretching down our famous street from Clifford Street to Burlington Gardens, we think they make a splendid site. The Savile Row

Look out for the shining shears! Christmas lights return to Savile Row this year in the giant, fluorescent form of the tools that are central to the work of our community: tailor’s shears. The impressive shears (see computer generated image) will light up our street all the way from Clifford Street to Burlington Gardens. The big switch-on date is Thursday

An initiative of our street’s landlords The Pollen Estate, On Savile Row showcases all the ateliers and attendant artistry of the Row, from the exquisite tailoring of Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) members and others,

Richard James’s bespoke operation has moved to a new billet across the road at the house’s flagship Savile Row store while its Clifford Street premises (pictured) are refurbished. The Clifford Street store is scheduled to re-open with a fresh, all-new expanded interior in the January of 2024. Richard James was established on Savile Row in 1992, and became a founding

We are delighted to announce that Mark Henderson (pictured) has been reappointed as the new Chair of the Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA). This is the second time Mark has assumed the position, having acted as our founding Chair. Mark is currently the Royal Warrant Holder and an advisor to SRBA member Gieves & Hawkes, where he served as CEO

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Edward Sexton, who was an exceptionally talented cutter and one of the great pioneers of Savile Row. Edward changed both the way men dressed and the way menswear was marketed when he famously co-founded the tailoring house Nutters with Tommy Nutter. Backed, amongst others, by Cilla Black, Nutters opened on Valentine’s Day

This year’s Concours on Savile Row was a great success, with the sun shining down on a truly spectacular collection of cars and in excess of an astonishing ten thousand visitors. Our famous street was covered with a red carpet for the two days of the event, and the vehicles on display perfectly represented the past and future of motoring,

Made from red, white and blue wool Melton from AW Hainsworth in Yorkshire, the mile’s length of bunting can now be seen on Savile Row, Clifford Street, Old Burlington Street and in neighbouring

Savile Row will be bedecked with bunting to celebrate the coronation of Kings Charles III. The Hackett story started in 1983, when Jeremy Hackett opened his first store selling second-hand clothes on King’s Road, Chelsea. Today, the brand’s bespoke tailoring service is available exclusively at the Hackett townhouse at 14 Savile Row.

The eponymous suit was cut for Peck by his tailors of choice and Savile Row Bespoke Association founding member Huntsman, who – sixty-seven years on since the film’s release – have now revisited it and
