For the first time in its storied history, Savile Row will be illuminated by festive lights this Christmas! The suitably stylish installation will be switched on by the fashion icon and longtime Savile Row patron David Gandy at 7.30pm on Thursday November 7th.  The street will be closed from 7pm to 9pm and visitors, who can obtain free tickets from

HRH Princess Anne gave an appropriately Royal endorsement to a glittering reception at Coutts’ headquarters on the Strand on 12th September to celebrate the bank’s two-hundred year association with the founding father of Savile Row, Henry Poole & Co. Pooles, as it is known on the Row, has been awarded some forty Royal Warrants since it was founded in 1806.

Hunstman, which is celebrating its centenary on Savile Row, will welcome visitors to its exclusive Huntsman Club, while Chittleborough & Morgan, which is celebrating

Taking a break from preparations for Brexit, we are very pleased to report that a blue plaque to commemorate the final live performance of The Beatles has been mounted on the façade of no. 3 Savile Row. The Beatles performed live for the last time on the roof of the building, which was the headquarters of their own Apple Records,

With the terms of Brexit still unclear, the government has published details of which imports into the UK would be subject to new import tariffs under a ‘no deal’ scenario. The United Kingdom’s scheduled date for exiting the European Union of 29th March is now only a matter of weeks away and HM Government has issued further guidance to the UK fashion and textile industry. All importers and exporters to or from the EU are now being advised that they must register for an EORI number to continue to trade

A major step was taken to protect the time-honoured craft of bespoke tailoring north of the border this month with the launch of the new Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) for bespoke cutting and tailoring. The Crisis A Call to Garms pop-up store on Savile Row proved to be a great success in the lead up to Christmas, taking in excess of £62,000. Additional funds were also raised by David Gray’s voluntary concert, which took place at the same venue at 31 Savile Row on 18th December and served to top off the six-day long
