Following on from the works that were undertaken in 2018 to improve the customer experience on Savile Row, Westminster Council is now making public realm improvements in neighbouring Burlington Gardens. As a result of this, Vigo Street is currently closed between Savile Row and Sackville Street. To retain access to properties, the closure has also resulted in the southbound one-way

Golden Shears 2021 has been postponed because of the current pandemic restrictions in the UK. Entrants were obliged to submit their work at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall on 13th or 14th of January, but have now been instructed to wait until the pandemic situation has improved and travel restrictions have been loosened. The final and awards ceremony is still scheduled
